BioShock fans will have to wait an extra month before they can explore the floating city of Columbia. Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine said that they’re now set to launch BioShock Infinite on March 26, 2013.

He explained that the delay actually comes from executive vice president of development Rod Fergusson, who joined the team after leaving Epic Games this past August. Fergusson allegedly fell in love with the game and moved into a hotel down the street from the Irrational studio to begin work on it as soon as possible. He felt that Infinite could use an extra three to four weeks of bug fixing, so that’s what Irrational is going to do.

BioShock Infinite is one of the most-anticipated games of 2013, as it takes the award-winning franchise into a new direction. Fans are expecting stunning visuals and a compelling story.
