LOS ANGELES — Matt Nava helped create the beautiful look of thatgamecompany’s Journey. But now, he’s going on a new adventure.
Nava is the head of his own studio — Giant Squid — and he’s working on a new PlayStation 4 exclusive game: Abzu. Sony announced the game via a debut trailer at the company’s annual press conference for the Electronic Entertainment Expo. You can definitely see the influence of Journey from Abzu’s gorgeous trailer, where a diver swam alongside all sorts of sea life, including whales and jellyfish.
