PlayStation Plus is usually all about getting games for free. This month, it’s also about getting one early.
Sony has revealed which free titles subscribers to its PlayStation Plus program will receive in July. These bonuses help drive people to pay extra for the monthly online service, and many PlayStation system owners look forward to the reveal of the new free games. PlayStation Plus has 20.8 million subscribers, according to Sony, and free games help keep them re-upping their memberships. July’s lineup includes:
- Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, PS4
- Furi, PS4
- Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, PS3
- Fat Princess, PS3
- Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, PS Vita
- Prince of Persia: Revelation, PS Vita
In addition, PlayStation 4 owners will get early access to Epic’s new MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) Paragon before its open beta begins on August 16. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get the Starter Pack for free, which comes with $40 of in-game content.
Although Paragon will already be a free game when it releases, it’s still the highlight this month for PlayStation 4 users. Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is a standalone expansion for Saints Row IV that came out in January 2015. Furi is a new action game. It comes out on July 5 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
