The brief FIFA gameplay clip showcased real-time formation changes and substitutions. Even the title’s popular Be A Pro mode will feature voice integration with A.I. teammates. In an unexpected twist, the game will introduce a referee-feedback component that will recognize gamer complaints after an extra-egregious call.
NFL legend and sports-talk football enthusiast Joe Montana then came on stage to demonstrate Madden’s Kinect integration. The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback directed presnap calls and audibles with his voice while even running a hurry-up offense, sealing the demo by marching his team to a touchdown.
FIFA 13 is hitting shelves in the fall while Madden NFL 13 arrives on August 28.
