Publishing giant Nintendo just announced that it will release a Pikachu-themed 3DS LL (the Japanese version of the 3DS XL) on September 15 for around $240. The bad news is that it will only be available in Japan. Even worse, only that country’s Pokémon Center will carry it. This thing will be very rare. That got us thinking about the other elusive Pokémon handhelds that Nintendo has released over the years.
