Marvel’s superheroes have another game coming to mobile.

Marvel Mighty Heroes is a four-player co-op game featuring a cast of superheroes and villains, including Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Groot, Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor. It launches as a free download for iOS and Android devices soon, according to a press release from developer DeNA. It has in-app purchases, including new characters for sale.

This isn’t the first time Marvel and DeNA have worked together. The Tokyo-based studio also had 2012’s digital card game Marvel: War of Heroes. At its height, it was the No. 3 ranked iOS game back on Oct. 20, 2012, according to App Annie.

“Marvel fans and gamers alike will have the chance to create the ultimate team of Super Heroes and Super Villains to take on waves of enemies from the Marvel Universe,” Barry Dorf, vice president of partnerships and alliances at DeNA, said in a press release sent to GamesBeat.

Other companies have created Marvel mobile games, including Demiurge’s Marvel Puzzle Quest, which was at one point on Oct. 25, 2013 the No. 15 iOS game, according to App Annie. Kabam’s Marvel Contest of Champions, a free-to-play fighting game, is currently the No. 51 ranked iOS game, according to App Annie. At its best, on Dec. 13, 2014, it was No. 3.

The concept for Marvel Mighty Heroes actually sounds similar to the console series Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. That was also a four-player co-op brawler that featured a varied cast of superheroes. Since the mobile game industry has grown to $30 billion, with revenues expected to exceed the console industry’s this year, according to market researcher Newzoo, Marvel Mighty Heroes could potentially prove more profitable than Ultimate Alliance ever was.
