That motorcycle game from Ubisoft is about to get a bit of a crossover with that popular block-building game. Why? Don’t ask questions — that’s why.
Ubisoft revealed today that it is teaming up with Microsoft to release Trials Fusion-themed skins for Minecraft on Xbox 360. Skin Pack 6, which hits Xbox Live on Wednesday, features two skins from Ubisoft and developer RedLynx’s side-scrolling motorbike platformer. The skin packs typically cost $2 and come with a variety of new looks for your Minecraft characters. The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft has enabled Microsoft to sell packs like these to the huge number of players who enjoy the Lego-like adventure title on the platform.
While Trials and Minecraft don’t have a whole lot in common, both franchises were top performers on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Trials Evolution, Fusion’s 2012 predecessor, was the fastest-selling Xbox Live game in history until Minecraft came along later that year.
The Trials skins are pixellated versions of the two standard biker models from Fusion. That game debuted on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 in April.
