Rivals merges single-player and multiplayer action instantaneously in what EA is calling the “All-drive” feature. During an onstage demo, two demonstrators were separately playing as a racer and a cop. Rivals then automatically put them into a game together, with the latter chasing the former.
Need for Speed Rivals releases on Nov. 19 for current-generation consoles and Windows, with the next-generation versions coming later in 2013.
