The world’s most successful role-playing franchise is finally hitting the best-selling home gaming console.

Perfect World and Wizards of the Coast announced today that the Dungeons & Dragons massively multiplayer role-playing game Neverwinter hits the PlayStation 4 on July 19. It’s set in D&D‘s main world of the Forgotten Realms, and each expansion follows the tabletop adventure’s latest storyline. It joins other free-to-play games on PS4 like DC Universe Online and Warframe, which are doing well on the platform.

Joost van Dreunen of market research firm SuperData views this as a smart move for Perfect World and Wizards — Neverwinter could use access to the larger PS4 customer base than the one that’s on the Xbox One.

“Expanding to PS4 makes a lot of sense for Perfect World, as the success of the free-to-play version on Xbox is currently good but not great,” he said. “Earning well under $1 million a month, the game theoretically stands to double if not triple its monthly earnings by releasing on the PS4 and accessing its 40 million installs.”

Neverwinter is also launching on PS4 with a special head-start pack for $20, which is available on July 12. It includes access before launch, a mount, weapons, and other items.
