I know The History Channel is all ancient aliens and the apocalypse these days, but if it aired documentaries about fictional video game cities, they might look a lot like the new trailer for BioShock Infinite.

BioShock Infinite already has a significant amount of buzz, but it can’t hurt the publisher to release cool videos like this one.
The video, called Columbia: A Modern Day Icarus?, is a faux-documentary about BioShock Infinite’s setting, the floating city of Columbia:
It doesn’t look like 2K is going to skimp on BioShock Infinite’s marketing. It announced preorder bonuses last week. This is after unveiling box art that BioShock creator Ken Levine claims is aimed at the mass market. All of these moves are congruent with the typical promotional campaign for most blockbuster games, but that doesn’t mean 2K and Irrational can’t get creative. The new trailer is definitely creative.
