In space, no one can hear you reboot.

Bethesda has released a new gameplay video for its upcoming first-person sci-fi shooter, Prey. It gives us a better idea of what the game will be like, including a look at some interesting abilities … like the power to posses a coffee mug. Turns out that’s more useful than you’d think. Prey is set to come out in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s one of Bethesda’s biggest releases for the year, especially with nothing upcoming for its biggest series: The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

It’s interesting to see that the game will be sending players outside into space. Of course, you probably won’t find any coffee mugs out there.

Bethesda announced Prey at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles in June. It’s a re-imagining of a series that has only given us one other game, which is also called Prey. That title came out in 2006. Bethesda had announced a Prey 2, which was an open-world bounty-hunting game, but it cancelled that project.

Arkane Studios is working on this new Prey. The developer is best known for the Dishonored series.
