Next Nintendo Direct focuses on Wii U/3DS holiday titles

A new Nintendo Direct will focus on the publisher’s Wii U and 3DS software releases for the rest of year. The video stream will start at 7 a.m. Pacific (10 a.m. Eastern) on Tuesday (also known as tomorrow).

Assuming Nintendo doesn’t do anything crazy and announce something new, you can expect this broadcast to cover upcoming holiday titles like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Breeze (Dec. 6) and Super Mario 3D World (Nov. 22) for the Wii U as well as 3DS games like The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (Nov. 22) and Mario Party: Island Tour (Nov. 22).

It’s interesting to note that Nintendo has a lot of software launching on Nov. 22, which is the same day that Microsoft releases its newest system, the Xbox One. That’s also just a week after the Nov. 15 launch of Sony’s PlayStation 4.

Nintendo has used these Nintendo Directs as a platform for showcasing software since 2011.
