In China, it’s the year of the snake. Everywhere else, it’s the year of Luigi, according to Nintendo.

U that turns the game into New Super Luigi U. This expansion will transform the game’s 80-plus levels into an entirely new adventure for Luigi.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, during a streaming-video presentation, said the scale of the development is equivalent to that of a full game release.
“It will take some time,” said Iwata. “This is coming to the Wii U eShop in this year of Luigi.”
It’s about time that Luigi got some respect. He’s taller, skinnier, and — in my opinion — much more handsome.
