Chocolate, wine, and romantic dinners. These are just a few of the gifts people expect on Valentine’s Day, otherwise known as the most hated day of the year. But it’s not all love and cherubs — Nintendo wants to let you celebrate with a brand new 3DS XL, which you can keep for yourself or give to your special honey.
Nintendo of America tweeted today that the pink-and-white 3DS is available just in time for that special occasion on Thursday. (I’m betting at least one of you read that and panicked.) The limited edition handheld costs about $200 and features an extra large screen (over 4 inches for both the top and lower screens), longer battery life (6.5 hours), and a larger SD card (4GB).
This themed 3DS actually appeared as part of a limited run back in November, bundled with Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask and Style Savvy: Trendsetters, but it sold faster than most people could grab it. It’s on sale once again.
So even if you date dumps you, at least you’ll have a candy-colored 3DS to keep you company.
If you hate Valentine’s Day, though, just ignore this post and go back to grumbling every time you come across the words.
(Grumble, grumble.)
