PC gamers are known for their need to tinker with every option in the menus, but many are complaining that publisher Ubisoft forgot to include a field-of-view slider in Far Cry 4. Well, we have the secret code you need to unlock it.
Buy the game. No, seriously. You actually need to purchase Far Cry 4 to use the field-of-view slider, and the secret code is your credit-card number (or however you want to pay). That’s because Ubisoft purposefully removed the field-of-view option from pirated versions, and only people who illegally downloaded the shooter is having this issues.

PC players! If you're online complaining about the lack of FOV control … You pirated the game.

Of course, gamers didn’t realize that the field-of-view slider was only missing because they pirated the game, so many took to Twitter and Reddit to complain. In the process, they also outed themselves as e-thieves:
Far cry 4 settings menu http://t.co/OSQQ7FgeAa no FOV slider has been found so far
Game runs good tho.

Of course, this probably won’t do much to stop piracy, but it at least helps Ubisoft’s support to figure out who to ignore.
