Nvidia chief executive Jen-Hsun Huang sent out invitations today for a big gaming event at the Game Developers Conference, the large developer event in San Francisco the week of March 3.

He said Nvidia will be demonstrating something “5 years in the making” that will “redefine the future of gaming.”
Huang most recently announced the Tegra X1 chip for car computers at the 2015 International CES. But while the chip was a supercomputer on a piece of silicon, Nvidia didn’t tout the Tegra X1 for its gaming capabilities.
