He doesn’t want to work. He just wants to bang on his drums all day.

Epic Games has revealed the newest hero for Paragon, its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). His name is Narbash, and he uses drums to support allies with an inspiring beat. MOBAs are some of the most popular games around right now, especially with hits like League of Legends and Dota 2 in the PC online sector. The genre is a big part of the emerging esports market, which research firm SuperData expects to reach $1.23 billion by 2019. Paragon is in a free open beta on PlayStation 4 and PC.

“Narbash is a beast who bangs on the drum all day, a Support Caster who specializes in crowd control [which allows a hero to stun and immobolize enemies] and buffing his team as he charges into the fight,” Epic Games noted in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “His Thunk ability allows him to lock down a singular target with a stun. His March ability provides him with a movement speed aura, which can be devastating when combined with the Health Regeneration aura provided by his Song of My People ability. Narbash causes a ruckus with his ultimate Crash Bang Boom, slowing enemies in an [area of effect], then finishing his performance with a knock-up.”

You can see Narbash in action in the trailer below.

Paragon is free-to-play, and all heroes released for the MOBA are also free.
