Obsidian Entertainment has finally tweaked its pathfinding enough to lead you to your smartphone.
The role-playing game studio announced today that it’s releasing its Pathfinder Adventures for iOS and Android phones. The first video game of the tabletop adventure, the app hit tablets back in April for iOS and Android. It’s an adaptation of the award-winning card game from Paizo Inc, the makers of the pen-and-paper role-playing system.

Unlike other popular card games like Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, where you build decks and take on other players, you play with cards in set encounters as you go through the story. As long as you’re logged into an account, it brings in the info from your existing games on tablets, Obsidian said.
“We’re thrilled to bring Pathfinder Adventures to phones and make it accessible to everyone.” said CEO Feargus Urquhart of Obsidian Entertainment in a statement. “It was a challenge to take on the Pathfinder universe, with all of the amazing characters, unique cards, and tense dice rolls; we left nothing on the table. We took the DNA of the physical card game, added an Obsidian narrative and brought the world of Pathfinder Adventures to life.”
