In a commendable move, publisher Atlus is releasing a video series on how to play its upcoming fighting game, Persona 4 Arena. This new title is a bold departure from Persona’s traditional role-playing roots, but the gameplay looks pretty exciting.

More fighting games need tutorial videos in addition to training modes. New combat systems are sometimes very difficult to master, and recent hits like Marvel vs. Capcom and Street Fighter IV could really benefit from instructional footage.

You might have heard a slight change in the way Teddie (a character from Persona 4) sounds. According to Nich Maragos from Atlus’ localization department, the original voice actor for Teddie was not available for Arena. Chie, another notable character from 4, also has a different voice. The rest of the returning cast, however, remains unchanged.
