Update: Microsoft has confirmed Harrison’s departure.
Microsoft executive Phil Harrison is on his way out, according to a report today from GamesIndustry.biz.

But citing numerous sources from the Game Developers Conference 2015, GamesIndustry.biz said it learned that Harrison is leaving Microsoft.
GamesBeat asked Microsoft if Harrison was leaving, with a spokesperson responding that “Microsoft does not comment on rumor or speculation.”
Harrison’s previous roles at Sony included serving as its game-design chief. He left the PlayStation company in 2012. Between his stints at Sony and Microsoft, Harrison was a venture capitalist.
