The Turtles are back.

Platinum Games, the creator of the critically acclaimed Bayonetta, is bringing its own brand of action to the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Xbox online store leaked details of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan a little ahead of time, and now publisher Activision has released the official trailer, which you can watch below.

Very few comic book and movie tie-ins actually stand up to video game treatment, but Platinum has an excellent track record of making great action titles (including the recent Transformers: Devastation). So we might be seeing a bit of a classic in the making.

Mutants in Manhattan is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC this summer. It will feature four-player online co-op, fast-paced combat, and a comic-inspired art style. Longtime Turtles writer Tom Waltz is providing an original story, and you’ll get to fight against classic enemies like Bebop and Rocksteady.
