Ever have a cool moment in Overwatch that you wish you could show your friends? Doing that is now easier than it was before.

Plays.tv, the PC app and site that enables players to capture and share their video game highlights, has new integration with Blizzard’s popular team-based shooter, Overwatch. Plays.tv will now automatically record players’ matches and tag specific moments like eliminations, multikills, resurrections, and Plays of the Game (Overwatch’s own highlight system that everyone gets to see at the end of a match). This will make it easier than ever for Overwatch’s competitive and casual players to share their most triumphant moments on the Plays.tv site, which the company says has 12 million users a month. You can also upload the recorded gameplay to sites like YouTube.

Overwatch has its own highlight system, like the mentioned Play of the Game. However, its Plays of the Game often focus multi-kills, which often don’t look all that impressive when all a player has to do is stand there and use their ultimate ability. Plus, you have no real way of sharing those highlights unless you record the footage with an outside program. Plays.tv’s new integration will give players more clips, entire matches, and a simple way to upload footage to its site for sharing.

“I love the fact that Overwatch has an in-game system, but it’s somewhat limiting in its current incarnation as it picks one highlight from a match that it thinks is interesting,” Plays.tv’s chief executive officer Dennis Fong told GamesBeat. “It also doesn’t save them after you quit. For Plays.tv, we enable full match replays, which is a great way to learn from your mistakes.”

Plays.tv’s site differs from other gaming video sites in that it focuses on short clips. Other places, notably Twitch, specialize in live streams of games.
