PSX2 is happening.

Sony kicked off its inaugural PlayStation Experience convention last year in Las Vegas, and now the company has announced it will bring back the fan event for 2015. But this year, PSX is headed to San Francisco. It’s at Moscone Center on December 5 and December 6. Tickets are on sale now, and you can get the early bird pricing, with a two-day pass for $60. Starting September 20, two-day tickets go up to $75.

Like last year’s event, Sony is planning to hold a big keynote, panels, and tournaments. It also has a showfloor brimming with games for you to play.

Sony is also working with Capcom to bring a Capcom Cup fighting game championship to PSX. This will involve the top players in the world duking it out in Street Fighter for a chance to bring home some of the $250,000 prize pool.

If the fighting-game tournament part sounds especially enticing to you, you can go to the Capcom Cup Pro Tour website to see about getting the VIP package for that competition. That package gets you special seating, a goodie bag, and access to the Twitch party.

Sony has also worked with local S.F. hotels to get discounted rates for attendees. If you want to go, you may try the Marriott Marquis, the Courtyard Marriott, or the Hilton.

Finally, Sony emphasized that anyone who buys tickets should register with their PSN ID. They didn’t say why, but it’s probably going to involve giveaways and other goodies. So, go forth, Sony Defense Force. And take over San Francisco!
