Sony is gonna fix up its PlayStation Network a bit on Monday with some scheduled maintenance.
The publisher revealed today that it will bring down the service for five hours on Dec. 9 starting at 9 a.m. Pacific and running until 2 p.m. The service will add various improvements, and it will raise the activation limit for PlayStation handhelds.
“This means that you can now activate up to three portable gaming devices — PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita — on your Sony Entertainment Network account,” PlayStation senior community manager Paul Sullivan wrote in a post on the PlayStation community messageboard. “This new portable gaming device allotment is in addition to the other network improvements being implemented during this downtime.”
So for you gamers with a bedroom PlayStation Vita, a bathroom PlayStation Vita, and an upstairs bathroom PlayStation Vita, you can finally log in on all systems at once. Finally, justice has entered the world!
While the maintenance will bring down the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and account management across all of the PlayStation Network, gamers can still access multiplayer games as long as you log in between now and when the maintenance begins.
