Pokémon Sun and Moon somehow make Dugtrio more ridiculous

Dugtrio is a Pokémon that’s just three heads popping out of the ground. How do you make him sillier? By giving all of those heads fancy hair.

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon, which come out for the 3DS on November 18. Pokémon games have sold more than 279 million copies worldwide. The series seeing of surge in popularity thanks to the Pokémon Go phenomenon on mobile, making expectations high for Sun and Moon.

The video shows off the Z-Moves (strong, unique attacks new to the series) for the final evolutions of the three starter Pokémon: Decidueye, Incineroar, and Primarina. As you can see in the trailer above, they look pretty flashy (I wish I could summon a giant ball of water with my singing skills).

Still, I’m stuck on that new version of Dugtrio. Nintendo has to be in on the joke. I’ve never seen a more absurd creature … and I need one.
