San Francisco-based Popjax has just raised $4.7 million from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Shasta Ventures and Selby Venture Partners, VentureWire reported.

The site launched two weeks ago and is available on Facebook. The team has 15 people. This kind of casual game is more likely to attract women, according to a survey released Thursday. The Solutions Research Group said its survey of women’s digital lifestyles showed that they are ahead of men in activities including watching streaming video on network TV web sites, using DVRs frequently, and playing casual games.
