Portal 2 Perpetual Testing Initiative Begins May 8

A free Portal 2 DLC update hits Steam May 8, giving players access to a puzzle creator.

If you’re longing to keep testing in Portal 2, the wait is nearly over. Valve announced today that a free Steam DLC update for Portal 2 on May 8 will roll out the Perpetual Testing Initiative, or a level creator.

Players will not have to leave the game in order to create, edit, and share levels with friends. The puzzle maker directly publishes content to the Steam Workshop where users can browse, comment, and vote on their favorites. Downloading new maps is simple and will automatically install in Portal 2 when selected.

Valve plans to reveal more information about this DLC on its blog.
