Capcom is offering Resident Evil super-fans some special bundles for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when the latest installment in the survival-horror series launches on October 2, according to a blog post by community manager Brett Elston. Don’t worry: They will be way better deals than that crazy ¥105,000 ($1,293) Collector’s Edition Japan is getting.
Both collections will cost $89.99 and will include codes for digital downloads of earlier games in the franchise. Xbox 360 owners can pick up the “Resident Evil 6 Archives,” which contains:
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (which includes the game and all downloadable content)
- Resident Evil 4 HD
- Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD
- Resident Evil Degeneration (the 2008 computer-animated movie)
The PlayStation 3’s “Resident Evil 6 Anthology” is a little more comprehensive and will include:
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
- Resident Evil 4 HD
- Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil: Director’s Cut
The different lineups coincide with the games available in each console’s respective stores.
