The fate of cheesy horror on PC is in the hands of Steam users.

If enough of the community supports for the game, Valve will allow the title on its digital-distribution network. Anyone with a Steam account can vote here.
Deadly Premonition is an action-adventure horror game. Players control FBI special agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the murder of a young woman in the small town of Greenvale. Oh, yeah, he also has an unseen companion named Zach that he talks to. It’s bizarre and absurd, and people love it.
Publisher Ignition Entertainment originally released the Xbox 360 version in North America in February 2010. The Director’s Cut came to PlayStation 3 in April.
“Steam’s Greenlight process is a first for Rising Star Games and there is nothing better than the cult hit, Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, to make our mark on it,” Risign Star Games chief operating officer Martin Defries said in a statement.”Rising Star Games is an extremely community-driven publisher and our vocal fans have been calling for a PC version of this game, so using Steam Greenlight gives those fans the chance to make a difference.”
Deadly Premonition seems to have enough support. Since appearing on Steam Greenlight earlier this morning, gamers posted over 74 pages of comments expressing their excitement.
