If your PC version of the open-world crime game Grand Theft Auto V started acting weird after one of the more recent updates, the next patch is for you.
Rockstar has released an update for Grand Theft Auto V to address a bug that caused many players to experience a noticeable lag in performance. If you are online the next time you boot up GTA V, it will automatically download and install the patch. Some players are already claiming that they have noticed an improvement and are seeing the game run at the smooth framerate they grew accustomed to previously.

It took about two weeks to go from players complaining about the problem to the studio fixing it. But it sounds like everything is running as it should for gamers on a wide variety of hardware.
Today’s patch does not include any other major fixes or improvements. Clearly, Rockstar has focused its resources on addressing the framerate.
