The first PlayStation Experience was just announced a couple of months ago, but this show — a rare December gaming event in Las Vegas — didn’t suffer from attendance. Both the long line leading to the keynote and signature-covered community wall in the main hall proved that the developer/publisher and all its third-party partners has the draw to make this gathering an annual event. Like with the Electronic Entertainment Expo, PAX, and Gamescom, many fans gravitated to upcoming games — such Drawn To Death and Dying Light — but we still saw a lot of interest in recent releases, even the flawed Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

This GamesBeat-exclusive gallery offers a glimpse of what attendees saw and played at the Sands Expo.
