Indie developers looking to partner with an incubator can now send their application to HouseOgames in Seattle.

HouseOgames is a new company that wants to help small studios prepare their games for the world. The incubator (a business that helps other businesses grow) will provide living accommodations, a workspace, some business training, and industry mentorships to developers that have the right ideas. HouseOgames even has its own in-house audio composer to design original game music.

“A slew of talented indie developers are making innovative high quality games,” HouseOgames founder Luke Burtis said in a statement. “We want to recognize that innovation and help it stand out from the crowded realm of clones and sequels and get them recognized. Our goal is to help foster this talent and assist in getting these games in front of as many eyes as possible. Along the way, we’ll also teach them how to run a company and make money doing what they love as a career choice.”

Burtis was previously the production director with Casual Connect, which is a conference that helps casual-game developers network with each other and publishers. He cofounded HouseOgames with Scott Jarboe, who previously was the lead engineer on Microsoft’s Edge computing network.

HouseOgames is also announcing a partnership with Seattle-based accelerator Reactor, which is a company that helps brings media ideas to market. Within Reactor, game-development veterans get together to teach best practices and guide young startups through their early days.

Burtis and Jarboe are currently focused on taking applications for HouseOgames. Developers interested in the program can submit their application on the company’s website.
