Sony is creating a new multiplayer game for its virtual reality headset Morpheus — and giving PlayStation gamers a way to play a VR game with their friends in the living room, something that the Oculus Rift so far hasn’t shown.
President and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House made the announcement during the company’s E3 press conference at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Developed by Killzone: Mercenary studio Guerrilla Cambridge, Rigs is a 3-vs.-3 futuristic battle arena game.

House didn’t provide more details, but he said that the game is available to play on the show floor at E3 this week.
Sony first announced Project Morpheus in March 2014, officially setting itself up as a competitor to the Oculus Rift.
At the Game Developers Conference this year, Sony introduced a revised version of the Morpheus prototype with better tracking and an improved display. The company also revealed the consumer version of the device will launch in the first half of 2016.
