Michael Lynton, the chairman and chief executive of Sony Pictures Entertainment, took the stage today to reveal that the company’s Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services, which are currently on the PlayStation 3, will also be heading to the PlayStation 4. For a fee (per service), gamers can listen to Sony’s entire music library or rent and own movies on their consoles.

An original programming plan is also in the works for the PS4 and the PlayStation Network, but Sony wasn’t ready to reveal what that entails just yet. “[It] will be tailored and selected specifically for the type of entertainment gamers want and love,” Lynton said.

Additional services coming to the PS3, PS4, and PlayStation Vita include Redbox Instant (with over 7,000 movies to stream) and Flixster.
