Sony isn’t planning to let 2014 fizzle out without a party. The company is inviting fans to Las Vegas for a huge event to celebrate upcoming games, and it is teasing the festivities today with a new, mysterious trailer.

On Dec. 6 and 7, Sony will hold the first ever PlayStation Experience at The Sands expo center in Nevada’s glitziest city. The publisher plans to show off a bunch of products that it plans to release in 2015, and it is also welcoming a huge number of third-party game makers to do the same. And Sony definitely seems like it has something secret in the works, and the video teaser it released this week for PlayStation Experience doesn’t help clear things up.

If you’re confused, don’t worry — we have a few ideas.

First, at around 18 seconds into the video, the logo for developer The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency pops up. That is Twisted Metal and God of War director David Jaffe’s newest studio.

That company also posted a video to its website that shows Jaffe eating something in a creepy video. Check it out:

That certainly makes it look like Bartlet Jones is working on a horror game of some sort. If that’s your guess, however, Jaffe wants to let you know that you’re wrong.

Jaffe went on to say that his team just likes “to make fun videos.” But he did say he is working on something new. We’ll likely get a chance to check out during the PlayStation Experience, and we’ll keep you in the loop.
