Nintendo announced today that Star Fox Zero will come out on the Wii U on November 20. Star Fox Zero is one of Nintendo’s biggest game releases of the holiday season, along with Yoshi’s Woolly World (October 16) and Xenoblade Chronicles X (December 4)

Star Fox Zero uses the Wii U’s tablet controller for gyroscope controls. The tablet’s screen and TV simultaneously show two different views of the action.

This will be the first new game in the series since Star Fox Command for the Nintendo DS, which came out back in 2006. It’s the first console release for the franchise since 2005’s Star Fox: Assault on the GameCube.
