ANAHEIM, Calif. — Star Wars: Battlefront is one of the three big Disney games on display at this year’s D23 Expo fan convention. And publisher Electronic Arts is partnering with Sony for a special console bundle.
Adam Boyes, the VP of publisher and developer relations at Sony Computer Entertainment America, took the stage this morning to talk about a Darth Vader-inspired PlayStation 4 console. It’ll come with the deluxe edition of Star Wars: Battlefront. The bundle will also include a voucher for classic Star Wars titles Super Star Wars (originally on the Super Nintendo), Star Wars Bounty Hunter (a multiplatform shooter from the PlayStation 2 days), Star Wars: Racer Revenge (a podracing game that’s also from the PS2 era), and Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter (a PS2 and original Xbox release).

Coming November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC, Star Wars: Battlefront is a revival of the popular shooter series based on the Star Wars franchise. This time around, Battlefield developer DICE is in charge. The new Battlefront will take Star Wars fans to both familiar locations (like the ice-planet Hoth) and new ones via free downloadable content (the desert planet of Jakku from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens).
Earlier this month, Electronic Arts revealed that Battlefront will also have a dogfighting mode where players can pilot iconic vehicles like X-wings, TIE fighters, and even the Millennium Falcon.
