If you want the full Star Wars: Battlefront experience, you’ll need to spend $110.

Electronic Arts’ new shooter launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this Tuesday, November 17, and it’ll feature 12 multiplayer maps from the start (with a further two to follow as free downloadable content). But EA has revealed that it’s adding another 16 multiplayer maps via Battlefront’s $50 season pass, which will drop four big expansions into the game, starting in early 2016.

Early impressions of Star Wars: Battlefront — 10 hours of which is already available to Xbox One gamers using the EA Access subscription service — suggest that it’s a little light on content. So you might need to factor in the cost of the season pass if you want to get the most from the title.

The season pass approach to DLC is nothing new — EA’s other big shooter franchise, Battlefield, has been using it for years. Battlefield 4, for example, launched with just 10 multiplayer maps, adding a further 20 with the season pass. But, where each of Battlefield’s 10 base maps allowed for multiple game modes — eeking out the fun from each — Battlefront is somewhat less flexible, with only four map variations for each of the its biggest multiplayer modes, Supremacy and Walker Assault.

Here are the latest details of the Battlefront season pass content:

  • Over 20 new pieces of galactic tech including weapons, vehicles, and star cards for both Rebels and Imperials
  • Four more heroes and villains for you to fight as or against
  • 16 additional multiplayer maps featuring new locations
  • Four new game modes
  • Two-week early access to each expansion pack
  • Exclusive “Shoot First” emote
