The Force is with your favorite console … at least for the next few days.
Electronic Arts has just published a special beta test version of its upcoming shooter Star Wars: Battlefront to both Microsoft’s and Sony’s consoles. It’s live, and you can download it here for Xbox One and here for PlayStation 4. This is a beta, which means that EA and developer DICE will see how well its servers hold up under the strain of thousands of people trying out the game for the first time (along with watching for other hiccups).

We’ve had a go at the beta over the last few days, and we’ve come away impressed. The game is fun while also capturing a lot of great Star Wars moments. But this isn’t just a new skin on Battlefield, the game feels even better at times specifically because it is Star Wars.
