Steam just got a dozen kids games thanks to Disney

Disney is embracing digital PC gaming and Steam, and that has led the publisher to release a ton of games from its vault on the digital-distribution platform.

Disney Interactive just made Steam a better store for younger gamers by releasing adaptations of some of its most popular properties. This includes game spinoffs for Finding NemoWall-E, and Cars. While Steam is already a megapopular portal for older PC gamers, it has not always had the best lineup of family-friendly entertainment (outside the Lego games). With Disney’s support, that could change.

Here’s the full list of new Disney games now available on Steam:

  • Disney Mickey’s Typing Adventure
  • Disney’s Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon
  • Walt Disney Pictures Bolt
  • Disney Pixar Cars
  • Disney Pixar Cars: Radiator Springs Adventures
  • Disney Pixar Cars: Mater-National Championship
  • Disney’s Chicken Little
  • Disney’s Chicken Little: Ace in Action
  • Disney Pixar Finding Nemo
  • Disney High School Musical 3: Dance It
  • Disney Pixar Wall-E
  • Disney Phineas and Ferb: New Inventions

That last game, Disney Phineas and Ferb: New Inventions, is only available in Russian, Czech, Polish languages on Steam.

To draw even more attention to this new lineup of Steam games, Disney is marking down its entire catalog by 50 percent on the service. Unfortunately, that does not include the Star Wars games that Disney dumped on Steam earlier this month.
