Steam community members are giving their special take on Sony’s controversial new zombie survival game, H1Z1.

H1Z1 launched on Steam Early Access yesterday, giving access to a development build to anyone willing to drop $20, and it’s now Steam’s top-selling game. It’s going to be free-to-play at launch, though, and that’s thrown up the thorny issues of in-game microtransactions and play-to-win mechanics.

Many players are particularly upset at the addition of $5 airdrops, which contain game-changing items like guns, ammo, or first-aid supplies. Others simply haven’t been able to sign into the online-only multiplayer game, getting a “G99” error.

Despite the problems, Steam’s H1Z1 reviews make for entertaining reading, and we’ve gathered together some of the best below.
