The publisher responsible for hadoukens and tiger knees in the Street Fighter series is looking for some help in making its next fighting game.

Publisher Capcom is beginning work on something new, according to Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono. The developer took to Twitter to recruit a game designer and a programmer for the unspecified brawler.

Ono went on to explain that any potential applicant should speak Japanese, have development experiences, and love fighting games. Capcom is in the preparation stages of development, and Ono noted that designers and programmers could expect to work at the publisher’s Osaka or Tokyo studios.

When asked if the new fighter is a next-gen game, Ono refused to comment.

Ono also said that he doesn’t know the game’s target platform.

Capcom arguably invented the fighting-game genre with its Street Fighter II arcade release in 1991. Since then, the company has released a variety of head-to-head brawlers, including Darkstalkers, Marvel vs. Capcom, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Rival Schools, and the Street Fighter Alpha series.
