And the smash goes on.

Nintendo announced today that the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros., which comes out on Nov. 21, is getting its own Nintendo Direct on Oct. 23 at 3 p.m. PT. The Nintendo Directs are a series of video streams by the Japanese gaming giant that highlight upcoming products.

The 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. came out earlier this month (we loved it). While the Wii U version will be mechanically identical and feature the same roster, it will have some new features. An Amazon listing for the game talked about a Board Game Mode and a stage creator, neither of which are in the 3DS version.

We’ll likely hear about both during the Nintendo Direct, which you can watch here once it starts broadcasting on Oct. 23.
