Telltale plans a five-episode season for The Wolf Among Us. Players can buy the entire season up front for $20 on the platform of their choice.
Fables is one of DC Entertainment’s longest-running stories. It started under the Vertigo label in 2002 and has racked up a number of awards for its writing over the years. It also consistently ranks high on the New York Times best-seller list. The books follow the lives of several characters from various fairy tales and folklore that have been forced out of their homeland. The fables, as they call themselves, have created a new clandestine immigrant community in New York City called Fabletown.
The Wolf Among Us takes place prior to the beginning of the Fables books. It will follow Bigby, Little Red Riding Hood’s Big Bad Wolf, as he acts as sheriff of the fables New York City community.
