Nintendo is promising to show off more footage of its next big Zelda release during a big gaming event this week.
The Game Awards, an annual celebration of the game industry, will have an “exclusive look” at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during the broadcast of that ceremony. Industry personality and producer Geoff Keighley has put together the event, which will stream live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook Live (just to name a few services) starting at 5:30 p.m. Pacific on Thursday, December 1. Boot up any one of those services, and you’ll have the chance to see even more information on the Zelda game that is due to hit both the Wii U and upcoming Nintendo Switch hybrid handheld/home console in 2017. Nintendo didn’t specify if it’ll show off the Switch or Wii U version on Thursday.

Nintendo already showed off Zelda: Breath of the Wild in detail during its presence at the Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles earlier this year. I went hands-on with it, and the publisher did plenty of livestreams on Twitch to show gamers what to expect.

But since E3 in June, Nintendo hasn’t said much about the new Zelda beyond demonstrating it working with the Switch in that system’s debut trailer. So the new footage at The Game Awards could give fans another quick taste before we move into the last few months of waiting for Breath of the Wild to finally debut.
