Developer Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Season Two is only days away, which means it’s time for things like launch trailers and cravings for flesh … or maybe that last part is just me.

Telltale released the launch trailer for The Walking Dead: Season Two today. It cuts together snippets from the upcoming sequel to The Walking Dead, which was GamesBeat’s 2012 Game of the Year. This time, players take on the role of Clementine, a young girl that had a big supporting role in the first season.

The Walking Dead: Season Two — Episode One is due out for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and iOS next week for $5 although gamers can prepurchase the whole season for $25. The game will unlock on Steam on Dec. 17, according to Valve’s digital-download service. The Xbox 360 version is listed as coming on Dec. 18. It’s possible both of those could change, however, because Telltale still hasn’t provided an official date.

As expected, things are tough for Clementine. The video reveals that she is struggling to stay alive after getting separated (either physically or mortally) from everyone she knew in the first season. The video shows her covered in blood, shivering in the cold, and falling in a river. Oh, yeah, she gets attacked by the undead as well.
