Telltale posted in a blog that it has an Ouya in its office that it plays around with and that it is “thrilled to add The Walking Dead” to the device’s marketplace.
Ouya uses the Android operating system, which means that Telltale has a version of the game that it could release on the Google Play market for other Android devices. We’ve reached out to the studio to ask if it has plans to release the game on Android smartphones or tablets.
Telltale debuted first episode of The Walking Dead’s five-episode first season in April 2012 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The title won many accolades including the GamesBeat Game of the Year. The developer has since released the game on iOS and PlayStation Vita.
