Getting driven to school is sometimes kind of embarrassing, but for these kids, it’s actually pretty cool.
Rachel Sims, a mom-of-four from the U.K., bought a car originally used by Sony to promote the racing game Need for Speed: Most Wanted. She’s now using it to drive her kids — aged 3, 8, 12, and 15 — to school and back each day, and it’s been turning quite a few heads. Promotional items for games are sometimes pretty out-there, and it is kind of strange to see one in daily use in such a mundane setting.

One old man was looking at it and fell over a bin,” Sims told the BBC.
According to Sims, a police officer has told her the car — which is fitted with flashing yellow lights but has no siren — is fine to drive on U.K. roads, as it’s clearly not a U.K. police car.
“I have been stopped by the police, but they checked and told me there was nothing wrong with it,” said Sims. “It can’t really be mistaken for a British police car. It looks nothing like one. The colors are different and the markings aren’t luminous. There is no way you could say I was impersonating a police officer. I wouldn’t want to drive it in the U.S. though.”
Sims is hoping to hire the car out for proms and weddings in the future.
