Darksiders II is a third-person action-adventure title for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. This new downloadable content joins the previous Argul’s Tomb, which added two new dungeons to the game in late September.

The Abyssal Forge is an in-game entity that can harness darkness to create powerful weapons, just like Lockheed-Martin. A character known as the Mad Smith created the forge, but his people shunned him and locked him and the Abyssal Forge in a special area called the Shadow Lands. Unfortunately, he spent the entire duration of his imprisonment using his tool to build a massive army that now threatens all of creation.

THQ will release this expansion on October 30 on all three platforms for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points. Players can explore the Shadow Lands, which features two new dungeons, several new enemies, and tons of new loot.

The developer claims this DLC features the game’s most difficult enemies and puzzles to better challenge Darksiders II’s most dedicated players.
