Hopefully you weren’t too busy supergluing your Pikachu costume together to find the time to buy your three-day pass for the Penny Arcade Expo East.
Those $70 tickets are now completely sold out, according to the convention’s official website. If you didn’t buy one and still plan on attending, $35 single-day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) badges are still available. PAX has no rule against one person purchasing multiple passes, so you can still attend all three days, but it’ll cost you a little more scratch.
The Penny Arcade team scheduled the 2013 East Coast version of their crowded expo for March 22-24. Attendees packed last year’s PAX East despite it conflicting with Easter Sunday. The 2012 Seattle-based PAX Prime’s three-day passes sold out in a matter of hours after going on sale. Registration for this year’s event only opened yesterday. Single-day passes aren’t likely to last through the end of the week.
Penny Arcade is a game-centric webcomic authored and illustrated by Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins. They’ve addressed the demand to attend their expos by adding a fourth day to PAX Prime and an Australian show scheduled for 2013.
